On May 27, 2005, David E. Ortman participated in the world's largest musical harmonica ensemble (1,706) at the Seattle Folklife Festival in Seattle, WA.
This set a new Guinness World Record. See Guinness World Records 2007, page 191.
"I'ts a lot easier than beating the world marathon record!" - David E. Ortman. Update: This record was subsequently broken in 2007 in Cleveland, Ohio, when about 1,800 people "blew" Seattle out of the water. Update: On July 4, 2010, David participate in the world's largest zombie walk in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle with 4,233 zombies. To bad all the zombies didn't have harmonicas!
